RESERVATIONS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Full payment is required on all online bookings. For telephone bookings; day packages, special offers and full tariff residential breaks arriving within 30 days require payment in full at time of booking. Bookings made more than 30 days prior to date of arrival require £100 deposit per person to secure the booking. Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. NB: No reminders are sent. In the event of non-payment for whatever reason, the Company may refuse admission and the deposit will be forfeited. All transactions for reservations, gift vouchers or products by credit card will incur an additional £2.50 charge. In exceptional/necessary circumstances the company reserves the right to offer an alternative resort as a destination, date of stay or cancel reservation(s) with full refund to the payee. No refund will be given for early departure unless caused by significant acts of negligence on the part of the company. Please note if booking a promotion or a discounted rate, no further discounts or offers can be applied. All inclusive treatments are 25 minutes long unless otherwise stated. The Company will require a credit card imprint on arrival to guarantee any monies due. FEES
The fees are inclusive of residence, (where appropriate), treatments as listed and VAT. Extra treatments will be charged at the rates shown by the Company at its premises. Pre-booked additional treatments will be charged at the rate current on the date of booking. Date of arrival on the pre-booking form at the Company's premises will be the accepted date.
DAY GUEST CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be made in writing by post/fax/email. Date of arrival at the Company will be the accepted date. The Company will apply the following charges per person for cancellations / amendments:
- Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: Full payment.
- Cancellation between 7 and 30 days of arrival date: 50% payment.
- Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival date: £25.
- Alterations to bookings: £10 administration fee.
- Non arrival without notice: Full payment.
- Cancellation of additional treatments within 24 hours: 50% of cost of treatment.
RESIDENTIAL GUEST CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be made in writing by post/fax/email. Date of arrival at the Company will be the accepted date. The Company will apply the following charges per person for cancellation/amendments:
- Cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival date: £100.
- Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival: £25.
- Alteration to bookings: £10 administration fee.
- Non arrival without notice: Full payment for the first day plus 50% of fees for subsequent days.
- Cancellation of additional treatments within 24 hours: 50% of cost of treatment.
CANCELLATION AND CURTAILMENT PROTECTION
We are pleased to be able to provide you (and your colleagues) a cancellation and curtailment protection that can be applied to protect your monies paid, in the event of an emergency that may occur, when even the best laid plans go awry. In summary, our cancellation and curtailment protection refunds all your deposit or full payment made (except the protection charge) if you have to cancel or curtail your visit due to the causes mentioned on our cancellation and curtailment leaflet. In summary your cancellation and curtailment protection refunds all your deposit or full payment made, apart from the protection charge, if you have to cancel or curtail your visit due to the causes mentioned below. If payment or part payment is made by a voucher, the Voucher will be replaced for an identical voucher as the voucher redeemed for the booking, for a further year's redemption period, if appropriate under the conditions of the cancellation and curtailment protection scheme. Cancellation and curtailment cover if required should be taken by each individual.
- You or a member of your party, or close relative suffers a serious incapacitating (and at the time of making your booking not
pre-existing) illness, accident or death. - You or a member of your party is called for Jury Service or as a witness in a court of law.
- A fire, flood or storm occurs at your home or the home of a member of your party within 14 days of date of arrival or during the course of your visit, which makes your home uninhabitable.
- A burglary occurs at your home or the home of a member of your party within 14 days of date of your arrival or during the course of your visit.
- You or a member of your party serving in the HM Forces is subject to an unforeseen posting (other than arising from war or similar hostilities); and you are prevented from commencing your visit.
OFFERS
All offers are subject to availability. Champneys reserves the right to withdraw offers at any time.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Please ensure that you bring your redeemable gift voucher to the resort to present on arrival. Non presentation of voucher will necessitate a charge being made until the voucher is presented. If full or part payment for your visit is by a gift voucher this will become void if you fail to arrive. All other cancellation charges are shown under ‘Cancellation’, except that a refund cannot be made against a gift voucher. However, we will be pleased to hold the balance of the value of the voucher for future use. Gift vouchers cannot be used for online bookings. Guest questionnaire voucher codes pre-fixed with 'CQ' are not able to be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounted breaks, they can only be used as payment towards a full price day or residential break. They are not able to be used in resort towards additional items purchased including treatments, services, products and gift vouchers. Champney Day Spa gift vouchers cannot be used at resorts. Champneys gift vouchers must be redeemed within 24 months from issue date. Champneys will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers. Please treat gift cards as cash.
MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL BREAKDOWNS
Any mechanical or electrical breakdowns which occur on the premises are usually beyond our control, although we will try to repair any such fault as soon as possible. No refunds will be given unless any such breakdown is due to the negligence of the Company or its employees or agents.
VALUABLES
No responsibility can be accepted by the Company for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the health resorts whether placed in the safe or not. If you do bring valuable items it is essential they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your stay. The Company will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our residents, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to negligence of the Company, its employees or agents.
Mobile phones are not permitted in any of the public areas.
CHILDREN & PETS
The Company regrets that we do not have the facilities or accommodation for children under the age of 16. We cannot allow guests to bring pets either, but good boarding kennels are available locally.
DOCTOR
The health resorts and day spas are not alternative medical centres, and do not have a resident doctor. Guests are advised to consult with their family doctor about the need to limit or avoid our full range of treatments and facilities, for example inclusive treatments, steam room or sauna.
The Champneys Group pursues a policy of continuous development of fitness, health and beauty treatments and techniques. We therefore reserve the right to make changes which will be beneficial to our guests. Notification of specific changes will be given where relevant. Should a guest choose not to proceed with an alternative treatment that may have been substituted for a specific choice, no treatment cancellation charge will be made.

Three qualifying items need to be selected in order to receive one free.
The value of the lowest priced product out of three mixed items selected will be the value of the discount applied.
If three of the same item are included in your basket with a mixture of other items selected, then the third item of the same product is free, regardless of the other items being cheaper. GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
These gift cards are not cheque guarantee, credit or charge cards.
Valid activated cards are redeemable in full or part payment for merchandise in any Champneys resort, day spa or online at www.champneys.com (excludes Boots).
This card may not be exchanged for cash or other vouchers.
The minimum amount required to activate or top-up this card is £10.00
The maximum card limit is £500.
No change will be given, but the balance will remain on the card until the expiry of the card.
Any gift cards sold up to and including 31st March 2013 expire after 12 months and cannot be extended.
Any gift cards sold after 1st April 2013 are valid for 24 months, after which they expire and cannot be extended, any balance remaining will be deducted.
Champneys cannot be held liable for cards, once activated, which are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged.
Champneys is not responsible for any unauthorised use of these cards.
Gift cards may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the value stored on the card on payment of the difference. For balance enquiries please call 0843 316 2222.
Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.
Champneys reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time if Champneys considers it is reasonable and necessary in all the circumstances to do so. (e.g to change the scope of the Gift Card, service, notify of the services withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond Champneys control.) Any such change and action to be taken as a result will be notified to customers in advance in all resorts/day spas and online.
