Arrival
Directions to Mottram Hall are available on our Location page or by calling the hotel on 01625 828135.
As you arrive at Mottram Hall, you will find 4 parking spaces to the left of the Hotel which are reserved for disabled drivers, with another 1 located near to the entrance of our Club and Spa. There is also a turning circle located directly outside the main entrance for dropping off and picking up only. The main entrance is a small door to the left of the building as you look at it. If you need assistance with luggage or equipment, our team of porters are on duty 24 hours.
Reception
The Reception desk is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the entrance lobby. The reception desk is 121cm high although check-in can also be completed whilst sitting at the seating area in reception; Assistance is available to help take your luggage to your room.
Reception staff will also brief you on our evacuation policy and please note on your registration card if assistance is needed in the event of an evacuation.
The following accessible aids are available at Reception:
Vibrating Pad to assist waking guests with hearing disabilities in the event of a fire alarm. An evac chair is also available to enable staff to assist with the emergency evacuation of disabled, if necessary.

Mottram Hall Hotel has 3 disabled rooms on the Ground floor.
Bedroom inclusions:
One of the bedrooms interconnects to a double room
The flooring in bedrooms is short pile carpet and flooring in bathrooms is tiled
Lowered bed
Reading lamps are provided
Room service is 24 hours
Items of furniture can also be moved or removed on request
Bathrooms have lowered wash basins; however the baths are not easily accessible
Emergency pull cords link directly to reception from the bathroom
A grab bar is positioned at the side of the toilet
Disabled alarm
In the event of an emergency a member of the team will assist with your evacuation if necessary. Fire evacuation advice is provided on the back of your bedroom door and a disabled refuge area is situated in the link corridor. In case staff needs to summon extra assistance during your evacuation.

Public areas
All the restaurant, bar and lounge facilities at in the main Hotel are located on the ground floor on the same level making them easily accessible. Accessible toilet facilities are located to the left of reception.
Conference, Banqueting & Meeting Rooms
All Conference, Banqueting and Meeting rooms are on the ground floor. Hearing loops are available upon request in advance. Lighting can be dimmed where required. Please notify your conference or banquet for specific seating or staging requirements. Accessible toilets are located at the ground floor and first floor of the events centre.
Claret Jug
Access into the Claret Jug is via a ramp to the left of the building, with access to through either door at the front of the building or to the left overlooking the 9th green. Accessible toilets are located on the same level as the bar and lounge area to the left of the main front door.
Mottram Club and Spa
Entrance to the Club and Spa is located on the ground floor, up four stone steps. Access can be gained by using the disabled lift in the main hotel by St Andrew Suite. A member of the leisure team will assist you in the operation of the lift.
A member of the leisure team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the swimming pool and spa. A dedicated accessible toilet and changing area is located within the leisure club, as well as a wheel in shower room with drop down seat and appropriate grab rails. Access to poolside is on the same level and there are steps with a handrail into the shallow end of the pool.
Outdoor Facilities
The patio area can be accessed via the door to the left under the main staircase, which is level and paved. We also have an 18 hole championship golf course. The Golf pro shop and changing rooms are located on the ground floor in the Claret Jug building all on the same level. Golf buggies, electric trolleys and manual trolleys are all available for hire (subject to availability).
Alternative means of transport
If not travelling by car, the two nearest train stations are located at Macclesfield and Wilmslow. An accessible taxi service is available from Wilmslow Taxis who can be contacted on 07979 488446.
