This day retreat is in a beautiful setting and will provide you with the opportunity to give yourself the gift of time and self-care whilst being in a friendly group; Loraine will be available throughout the day for questions and advice.
how DOES it work?
The pilates method is often described as “Strength with stretch and control”, so our first class works through many of the classic reformer exercises to try and achieve those goals.
Then we take a short break before our second class of the day which has a more yoga feel. Joseph Pilates trained in yoga and this influence shows in much of the repertoire in his method. We will explore the fusion between the styles trying some yoga poses on the reformer.
After our morning’s activities a healthy buffet lunch is provided and then you are free to relax in the spa facilities.
